Job Summary
Airport Security Officer Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport property by screening individuals and baggage, monitoring surveillance, and enforcing security protocols. Maintains compliance with aviation security regulations and responds to incidents as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct passenger and baggage screening using X-ray and scanning equipment
* Verify travel documents and maintain access control to restricted areas
* Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activities
* Perform security patrols and support emergency procedures
* Ensure compliance with airport and AVSEC/BCAS security regulations
* Provide assistance and maintain professional communication with passengers
Requirements
Minimum education: You must have a high school diploma (\(10+2\) or equivalent) from a recognized board
Age: The age limit for entry-level positions is typically between 18 and 27 years old, though this can vary by employer.
